Lines advance and retire

Lines cross over, finishing in partner's place

Crossover Cast. Single cast on opposite side from top. Ladies cross in front of partner at top, all cross over and continue down outside of set to bottom and come up centre of set, holding inside hands, to place.

Top Lady Zig-Zag - First lady turns 2nd man (2 hand turn passing right shoulder), then turns 3rd lady (left arm), turns 4th man (2 hand turn by right shoulder), to finish in ladies line.

Top Man Zig-Zag - First man turns 2nd lady (2 hands left shoulder), (Note: 2nd lady is first in line) turns 3rd man (right arm), turns 4th lady (2 hands left shoulder), finish as last man.

First couple double strip the willow from bottom to top of set.

First couple lead into circular reel around the set (eg as grand chain), ladies anti-clock- wise, men clockwise.

From original place first couple only cross and cast to bottom of set. Others finish chain and turn or swing partners. finishing on own side
